Tigers designate Don Kelly for assignment

The Detroit Tigers have designated outfielder Don Kelly for assignment according to Tyler Kepner of the New York Times.

Kelly, 32, and the only Major Leaguer to have played all nine positions according to Kepner, hit .175/.267/.243 with 1 HR and a 40 OPS+ in 116 plate appearances with the Tigers this season.
